The short version: LootList doesn't ask for your name, email or an account. Your answers stay in your own browser. When you click through to Amazon, Amazon's own privacy notice applies there.
What we collect
- Your answers in the finder. They're saved in your browser's local storage on your own device, so they're still there next time. They don't leave your device unless you choose to share a list.
- Shared lists. If you use "Send this list," the link contains your answers (like the budget and the type of console). It doesn't contain your name or any contact details.
- Basic visit information. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may record technical details such as IP addresses and browser type to keep the site secure and to count visits. We don't use this to identify you.
Amazon and affiliate links
LootList is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. Product links go to Amazon, and Amazon may use cookies and similar tools to record that you arrived from LootList, so we can earn a commission on qualifying purchases. That information is collected by Amazon under Amazon's Privacy Notice, which is linked at the bottom of every Amazon page. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Children
LootList is meant for adults shopping for themselves or for gifts. It isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
